When you visit Gospel Movement Church, you’ll quickly see that everything we do is centered on Jesus. We lift our eyes to Him in song, grow to be more like Him through the teaching of Scripture, and share life as His family. From start to finish, every aspect of our gathering is centered on Jesus—including our family ministry.
So what is a typical Sunday like? Every week we do three things: First, we sing about God and to God. He is worthy of our worship, and we love to worship Him. Second, we pray. Life is complex, and we are all busy. Each week, we take moments to slow down and go before the Lord for refuge in prayer. Third, we preach the scriptures. Each week, we preach expositional sermons that engage your mind, life, and soul.
Along with this, each week we remind each other, “Gospel Movement Church is a better place with you in it.” And we mean it. Come as you are. What you’ll find here is a warm and welcoming community eager to get to know you and your story.
Service begins at 10:00am and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Our gatherings are intended to be honest, authentic, and Christ-centered. If you are visiting this site we know there are some FAQ’s about certain areas so we will try and answer those here.
We believe our singing should be both personal and corporate. There will be times when we sing loudly and times when we slow down so we can hear one another. We believe our singing should be in response to truth. We select our songs on the basis of what they reveal about God because we believe truth and experience are tied to one another. We traditionally do more contemporary worship but our focus isn’t a particular genre of music. Our focus is a type of worship that blesses God and helps us see Him as He is.
At MC, we are committed to expository preaching, where every message is rooted directly in Scripture. We believe that God’s Word has the power to transform lives as we hear it, understand it, and see Him revealed in it. Our preaching is transparent, honest, and Christcentered, helping us grow in faith and live out His truth. We strive to ensure that every teaching speak to our mind, body, and soul, teaching us how think Biblically, how to live like Jesus, and how to respond appropriately. We invite you to experience our teaching firsthand—check out a sermon on the media tab and join us as we journey through God’s Word together!
We have something for everyone at Gospel Movement Church. We want your entire family to feel like they belong here. So, from the smallest baby to the grown adult, you have a place at MC. Every Sunday, our Little Movers (6 weeks – 5 years old) and MVMNT Kids (5 years old – 5th grade) have their very own service designed just for them. Our nursery and kids’ ministry is fun, safe, and vital
to our church. We teach them God’s Word, we worship, we play some games, and more! We are certain that your little ones will enjoy their time with us. Our deepest desire is to partner with you in family discipleship.
You can read our creed and core beliefs by clicking on the About Us tab at the top of the page. Our creed beliefs are the beliefs we preach that all Christians should hold, and our core beliefs are our church’s distinctions.
Gospel Movement Church is a non-denominational church that teaches in alignment with the London Baptist Confession.

At Movement Church, we believe discipleship happens through real relationships, and that’s exactly what our youth ministry is all about. Our students gather three times a month in different settings—once for a worship service, once for a Bible study, and once just to have fun and build community. But youth ministry isn’t just about events—it’s about intentional discipleship. Our dedicated youth leaders genuinely care for each student, walking alongside them in faith and life. We partner with parents and guardians to make sure your teen is not only loved and cared for but also challenged and encouraged to grow in their walk with Christ. We don’t just want to entertain teenagers—we want to disciple them in a way that speaks directly to their world. Your teen will find a place here to belong, be encouraged, and be shaped into a follower of Jesus. We’d love for your student to be part of it!
