Next Steps is two one-hour classes designed to help you discover who we are, what we believe, and whether Gospel Movement Church is the family where God is calling you to become a member. You’ll hear the story behind our mission and vision, explore the convictions that shape how we worship and make disciples together, and have honest conversations about what covenant membership actually looks like. Whether you’re brand new to faith or simply new to GMC, we’d love to have you join us for an honest conversation about belonging to a church family that is equally committed to you.
Every week, our Community Groups gather in homes to build meaningful relationships and practice following Jesus together. Community 101 is the starting point for getting connected to a group. This two-week class meets on Wednesday evenings at our pastor’s home, where you’ll experience what community is like, learn our vision for it, and take your next step toward joining a group.
The best way to get connected is by joining us and sharing in life together. Start by attending our Sunday morning discipleship classes and worship services, and then explore other church events and opportunities to serve. Being involved in these ways helps you build relationships, grow in faith, and find your place in our community.
Church membership is an important step in finding a place to truly belong. It helps you understand who we are, invites you into meaningful relationships, and gives you a chance to grow, be known, and walk alongside others as you follow Jesus. The local church is where we experience life as a spiritual family—learning, serving, and participating together in what God is doing.
